We're back for another year! This Thanksgiving, let's gather for an evening of shared history, delicious food, and meaningful conversation.

Let's create unity among professionals of African descent across the diaspora. Diaspora Thanksgiving is a special dinner to give thanks for who we are and what we've overcome. Whether you identify as African, Black American, Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Canadian, or Afro-European, you are welcome to share your story.

🍽️ Our Mission: Share Stories, Deepen Understanding

Our mission is simple: to foster a deeper understanding of who we are as people of African descent by honoring each other's stories. We will move beyond professional titles to share personal histories and create a tapestry of connection that spans continents. Plus, 50% of all sales will go towards scholarships for future professionals of African descent currently enrolled in local colleges and universities.

🙏 Your Contribution: Bring a Drink, Share a Legacy

This year, we ask guests to participate in two special ways to make this a truly communal and intimate experience:

1. Bring a Bottled Drink: Please bring one of your favorite drinks to share. (The main course, dessert, and side dishes from the best diasporic restaurants will be served. Feel free to bring your Tupperware for takeaways:)
2. Bring A Story: In the spirit of gratitude, you will be invited to share a brief story about your accomplishments this year and how your heritage has supported you. We'll also have light games throughout the evening.
3. Before you leave: receive a thank-you gift!
