On Saturday, December 12, we're returning to NOMAD Used Books in historic Algiers Point, New Orleans, for another unforgettable evening exploring the unexplained.

Following our first experiment, which left guests buzzing with excitement and more than a few questions, paranormal researcher, author, and television personality Kitsie Duncan invites you to take your seat at the table for Experiment 002.

This isn't a séance you watch. It's one you participate in.

Surrounded by shelves of well-loved books, we'll gather around intimate tables and explore the possibilities of spirit communication using real paranormal investigation equipment.

You'll have the opportunity to work with pendulums, dowsing rods, electronic detection devices, and other investigative tools as we explore the unknown together.

No experience necessary. Just an open mind, a little curiosity, and a willingness to see what happens.

Will anything happen?

We have absolutely no idea.

That's kind of the point.

AN EVENING BETWEEN THE SHELVES

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Bites, Books & a Little Magic

Arrive early, enjoy light bites and refreshments, explore NOMAD's wonderfully eclectic collection of books, and settle into the atmosphere before the lights go down.

7:00 PM – 8:30 PM | The Séance Experiment

Take your seat at the table as Kitsie guides you through a 90-minute interactive paranormal experiment, including a brief intermission.

Together, we'll explore the unexplained, test investigative techniques, and discover what, if anything, might be waiting between the shelves.

8:30 PM – 9:00 PM (or later!) | Tarot, Treasures & Afterthoughts

The evening doesn't have to end when the experiment does!

Stick around for tarot readings available for an additional fee, enjoy special event discounts while browsing NOMAD's shelves, and swap stories with your fellow curious souls.

Tarot readings are optional and are not included in the ticket price.

DRESS FOR THE OCCASION

Come dressed as your favorite tarot card, embrace your witchiest attire, channel a little Victorian mystery, or simply arrive as yourself.

Dressing up is encouraged, never required.

This is an interactive paranormal experiment, not a theatrical performance, psychic reading, or guarantee of supernatural activity.

We make no promises of spirit communication or paranormal results.

Maybe something happens.

Maybe absolutely nothing happens.

But for one extraordinary evening, we'll turn down the lights in a New Orleans bookstore, gather around the tables, and discover what happens when curiosity meets the unexplained.
