Question 1

What ages is the event suitable for?

Accepted Answer

We have two events for two age groups. The first event is at 10:15 am and it is for 6-23 months old children. The second event at 11:15 am is for 2-4 year old kids. Activities are adapted to each age group.

Question 2

Do parents need to stay?

Accepted Answer

For the 6-23 months group, a parent or guardian will need to join and actively supervise their little one. For the 2-4 years group, parents or caregivers are welcome to watch while children participate more independently.

Question 3

What activities can we expect?

Accepted Answer

We’ll start with an interactive reading of There’s a Monster in Your Book by Tom Fletcher. Then we’ll dive into Halloween-inspired sensory play, exploring different colours and textures. We’ll cap it off with making a Halloween sensory calming bottle (6-23 mo) and your very own monster (2-4 yo).

Question 4

Is the sensory play safe for babies?

Accepted Answer

We use taste-safe, baby-safe and non-toxic sensory play materials. However, adult supervision is still essential.

Question 5

What if my child has allergies or sensitivities?

Accepted Answer

Please let us know about any allergies or sensitivities when registering so we can review the materials and discuss suitable accommodations.

Question 6

What should we bring?

Accepted Answer

Just your little one. Come dressed comfortably for messy play! Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting materials on. A water bottle and a change of clothes are recommended.
