Come party with us on the evening of Friday, November 6th! Vibe to DJ SCNDSHFT and enjoy a refreshing fall mocktail or cozy apple cider while enjoying a treat from Fig & Cardamom out on the lawn, or shop our annual 10% off birthday sale inside the store. Hang with your friends, grab some new books at a great price, get your tarot read, and celebrate another year of your favorite local independent feminist bookstore!
Tickets for this event are on a sliding scale, with all funds directly supporting Charis Circle’s robust calendar of free programs & events:
- $12 - includes a pastry from Fig & Cardamom + a drink ticket (valid for either a mocktail or a apple cider).
- $0 - plan ahead to join the party and help us collect RSVPs for our vendors!

About our Special Guests:
SCNDSHFT is an ATL born & bred DJ & prolific dyke. She works with all genres but especially loves DnB, house, and afrobeats.
Yarrow Koning (they/them) is a facilitator, environmental educator, and multimedia storyteller with over a decade of experience in the non-profit sector. Born and raised in the midwest, Yarrow relocated to Atlanta in 2012, where they developed a deep love for and commitment to the Southeast. Yarrow coordinates the impact campaign for a new documentary they co-directed called "Can't Stop Change: Queer Climate Stories from the Florida Frontlines."
Carrie Miller is a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist focused on telling queer stories through film, art, and history. Their work explores queerness as both identity and action—pushing boundaries and creating space for underrepresented voices. They founded Lavender Lens and collaborate with LGBTQ+ organizations like Out on Film, Queer Film Alliance, The Bakery Atlanta, Charis Books & More, and Touching Up Our Roots to build community through storytelling.
Founded and run by Pooja Datta Roy, Fig & Cardamom makes every baked good by hand — using the finest ingredients, sourced locally when possible, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality you can taste in every bite. Whether you’re celebrating a wedding, birthday, anniversary, or any special occasion, we work closely with you to bring your vision to life.
