Intro to Laser Cutting w/ Bridger - Wood Coasters

Thanks for your interest in LAS110: Introduction to OMTech Laser Cutters! This beginner-friendly course is intended to be a thorough introduction to some pretty powerful laser cutters, including our 60W and 130W CO2 machines. During this 2-hour course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of safely operating a laser cutter, including basic machine setup, material selection, cutting and engraving techniques, and how to choose appropriate settings. Most importantly, you’ll learn best practices for preventing fires and working safely around the equipment. You’ll then put your new skills into practice by designing and creating your own custom coaster set to take home. All materials are provided, and no prior laser-cutting or design experience is required.
