A fun evening of music featuring the RimbaTubes and more!
High Voltage is a monthly curated program at Electric Lodge featuring cutting-edge performers sharing their latest works.
This month we are highlighting our very own Associate Artistic Director, Kent Jenkins.
Kent (also known as "Snubby J") has over 3 million followers across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook playing a unique homemade musical instrument called the RimbaTubes. Inspired by the Blue Man Group, Kent and his father "JJ" built their first plumbing pipe percussion instrument back in 2007 and Kent's been playing it ever since. His performance credits include: TEDx Talks, America's Got Talent, The Ellen Show, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Formula 1 Grand Prix, and more.
This evening will be a collection of his greatest hits on the RimbaTubes and will feature several of Kent's musician friends, culminating in a special act all together. The other artists include:
Aaron Grooves
Jake Chapman
Scott Johnson
Jon Steinmeier
Matt DiBiase
