Holiday History Night

Experience level: Beginner; all ages; all minors must have a parent/guardian on-site or a signed participant waiver

Step into a world of festive elegance at this open-house style Holiday History Night on Monday Dec. 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Mansion.

Experience the magic of the Allerton Mansion bejeweled with over 40 twinkling trees as you move throughout the first floor and some of the decorated rooms upstairs. Allerton’s dedicated group of volunteer tour guides will be stationed around the home to share the unique history of Allerton Park and the creation of the estate.

The event will end at 7pm and a typical tour around the home takes 60 minutes to complete, so give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the Mansion in all its holiday splendor!

A cash bar in the Solarium will be available from 5-6:30pm.

$15/person. Registration closes December 6 or when capacity is reached. All sales are final.

If you will need disability-related accommodations to participate, please email Sarah at sputman2@illinois.edu.
