Pam Taylor Presents — Up Close & Personal is a curated live music experience created for those who want to get closer to the music — and to the artists who make it.

Born from the energy of the sold-out Ladies Sing The Blues residency at The Mint, one of Los Angeles’ most legendary stages, this special evening offers a more intimate setting, longer performances, and a deeper look at the songs, stories, and personalities behind the music.

Pam Taylor is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and guitarist known for her powerhouse vocals, fiery guitar work, and soulful blend of blues, rock, and roots music. An HMMA winner whose music has topped the Roots Music Report charts and earned recognition from Living Blues and Blues Rock Review, Pam has performed at festivals and venues across the U.S. and internationally. Since relocating to Southern California, she has become part of the vibrant Los Angeles music community and a featured artist in the sold-out Ladies Sing The Blues residency at The Mint.

Jamma, also a featured artist in Ladies Sing The Blues, is an Italian, LA-based singer-songwriter. Her powerful vocals and layered sound are heavily inspired by blues, soul and rock music. Folk music, however, is the primary inspiration for her lyrics, which fuse both the American and Italian traditions, as well as the languages. Unapologetic, sensual, witty, her style and vision embody the dichotomy of womanhood: romantic and grunge, stylish and decadent — the antiheroine of Gen Z.

The beautiful Sound Dhaba sets the tone for the evening — warm, intimate, and built around connection. With its commitment to creating community for musicians and music lovers, it’s the kind of room where the line between artist and audience feels a little thinner, and every song lands a little closer.

Guests can enjoy a delicious meal throughout the evening, featuring curry chicken with rice, along with a vegan mushroom and rice option, plus libations to round out the relaxed, immersive experience.

A $15 suggested donation helps support the artists and the event, but no one will be turned away.
