Would you go to a wedding without knowing who's getting married? The wedding is fake. The party is real. 11.06.26 · SAX, Washington D.C.
It's a Fake Wedding is a full wedding: reception, ceremony with officiant, vows and rings, first dance, bouquet toss, and an hora loca to close the night. Everyone shows up dressed for a wedding and lives the ceremony as one more guest; after the kiss, SAX becomes the party.
The party that's been going around the world lands in Washington D.C. for the first time — and it does it with Night Society, the team behind the city's biggest Latin nights, on Friday, November 6 at SAX.
Over 30 editions across 14 cities. Madrid, Miami, New York, Houston, Panama, Caracas, Montreal, San Juan, Bogotá, Amsterdam. Now D.C.
Dress code: wedding guest — remember, it's a wedding. Suits, cocktail dresses, black tie if you feel like it. Dress like you're quietly trying to outshine the bride. Outfit inspo coming soon on our socials.
This event is strictly 21+. A valid ID is required at the door — no exceptions.

Agenda
RECEPTION
Welcome to your wedding. The doors of SAX open: warm light, white flowers, and a room full of strangers about to become your wedding crew. Grab a drink, dress to impress and take your place — the bride and groom could be anyone in the room. Nobody knows who's getting married. Not even you.
CEREMONY
The moment arrives. The officiant takes the altar, the music drops to a whisper, and the bride walks in. Vows, rings, tears (real ones, somehow) — the full ceremony for a couple nobody knows. Say "I do" with them. The party officially begins the second they kiss.
FIRST DANCE
The newlyweds open the dance floor — and then it's yours. From wedding classics to reggaetón, the first dance melts straight into the party.
