When Leaders Burn Out: Rebuilding the Way We Work A practical masterclass for managers, founders and senior leaders
What happens when the person everyone relies on needs to step back?
Leadership often comes with the expectation that we will remain available, decisive and supportive, even when our own capacity is running low. Acknowledging that something needs to change can be difficult when you feel responsible for a team, an organisation or a mission.
This four-hour, in-person masterclass offers space to pause, examine how you work and identify practical changes to the way you lead. Through guided reflection, individual exercises and facilitated discussion, you will explore the responsibilities you carry, the expectations you navigate and the support you need.
What we will work on
- Leadership and capacity: examine the pressures that make it difficult to acknowledge limits or ask for support.
- Your workload and responsibilities: map what you are carrying, what requires your attention and what could be delegated, shared or reconsidered.
- Boundaries and communication: explore how to set expectations, communicate limits and redistribute responsibility.
- And when burnout hits? Services and available support in Belgium.
- Your next steps: develop a personal action plan with one change to make, one conversation to have and one form of support to seek.
Who is this for?
Managers, founders, entrepreneurs and senior professionals who want to reflect on their relationship with work and build more sustainable leadership practices. You may be navigating sustained pressure, returning after a period away or questioning whether your current way of working is sustainable.
The group will be limited to 20 participants, allowing time for reflection and meaningful exchange. Sharing is always optional, and you will never be asked to disclose personal health information.
Your facilitator
Isabella Sofia De Gregorio, founder of Impacta Consulting and Eduxo.eu, brings experience leading international teams, managing projects and navigating burnout and a return to professional work herself by becoming an entrepreneur. Her approach combines lived experience with practical reflection on leadership, responsibility and organisational culture.
