IE Law Challenge

Are you interested in law and ready to put your critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills to the test?

IE University invites students at schools in Spain in 4º de ESO or 1º de Bachillerato, Year 11 or Year 12 in the British system, or Grades 10 or 11 in the American system, to take part in the Law Challenge, an opportunity to explore the world of law through a practical case and a team competition.

You will develop your arguments, consider different perspectives and work with others to tackle a legal challenge, before joining us at IE Tower in Madrid to compete in person.

Key dates

• February 15, 2027 — Registration deadline. Register to take part in the challenge.

• March 1, 2027 — Preparation begins. Participants will receive an explanatory video and an introduction to the case to help them prepare.

• Saturday, April 10, 2027 — Competition day. Participants will come together at IE Tower to compete in teams and put their skills into practice.

The prize

Participants will have the opportunity to compete for a 100% award toward the Pre-Law Summer Program at IE University’s Summer School, taking place in summer.
