Evening Reception Honoring Angela Brady, Acting SDOT Director

A welcome reception honoring the City of Seattle's new Acting Director of Transportation, Angela Brady.

Please join the WTS Puget Sound Chapter for a reception honoring Angela Brady and celebrating her appointment as Acting SDOT Director.  

For years, Angela has been a driving force in the City of Seattle. As SDOT’s Acting Director, she provides strategic leadership to approximately 1,300 employees and helps ensure the delivery of safe, reliable, and equitable transportation throughout the city. With more than 30 years of experience as a professional engineer and leader of complex organizations, she works closely with city leaders, agency partners, staff, and community stakeholders to advance transportation priorities, address challenges, and deliver critical infrastructure investments that significantly improve mobility and quality of life in the City of Seattle. Prior to leading SDOT, Angela served as Director of the Office of the Waterfront, Civic Projects, and Sound Transit, overseeing the $1.2 billion Waterfront Seattle Program. 

Guests will hear a few words from Director Brady about her vision for the City of Seattle and have the opportunity to network with the Director and other industry professionals. Please note that space is limited and advanced registration is required.

Where: 505 1st Avenue S. at the 505 First Rooftop Deck

Cost: $65 (Private Sector WTS Member) | $50 (Public/Student/DBE WTS Member) | $75 (Private Sector Non-Member) | $60 (Public/Student/DBE Non-Member)

Venue Access: The event will be held on the 505 First Rooftop Deck. Please allow a few extra minutes for rooftop access. Enter through the main entrance on 1st Avenue South, marked "505" above the door. Proceed through the lobby past the seating area and meeting table. The front desk, located on the left, can direct you to the elevators.Once upstairs, attendees may either take a short flight of stairs or transfer to a second elevator to reach the rooftop. WTS staff and directional signage will be available throughout the building to help guide guests.
