The Music of Masters of the Universe Tales from Eternia with Erik Desiderio

The Academy of Scoring Arts welcomes back composer Erik Desiderio for a look inside his score for Masters of the Universe: Tales from Eternia, Mattel Studios’ new 2D animated series bringing He-Man, Skeletor and the heroes and villains of Eternia to a new generation. With four-minute episodes releasing weekly on the Mattel Adventures YouTube channel, the show packs big action into short runtimes, and the music has to keep pace. Erik will walk through how he approached the score and what it takes to write epic music for fast, episodic animation. His credits also include Last Epoch, Star Trek Fleet Command, Diablo III: Rise of the Necromancer and the HBO Max sonic logo. This will be a casual, engaging discussion - bring your questions! As always, coffee and lunch will be included in the ticket price.
