🎤 Christmas Open Mic Night at Pepys House –

Hosted by Jude Simpson

Join us for a wonderfully festive evening of stories, poetry, music and Christmas cheer at Pepys House!

Following the success of our Midsummer Open Mic, we're bringing everyone together again for a special Christmas edition, hosted by the brilliant Jude Simpson.

Throughout the evening, Jude will be sharing festive extracts and anecdotes from the diaries of Samuel Pepys, offering a fascinating and often entertaining glimpse into how Christmas was celebrated more than 350 years ago.

But this evening isn't just about listening — we'd love you to get involved!

Whether you have a favourite Christmas poem, a festive song, a short story, a funny Christmas memory or something you've written yourself, we'd love to hear it.

You don't need to be an experienced performer. Our Open Mic is all about bringing people together, sharing creativity and enjoying a relaxed and welcoming evening.

Or, if you'd rather sit back and enjoy the entertainment, that's absolutely fine too!

We'll be gathering in our cosy heated tipi in the garden for a Christmas evening with a difference.
