Black & Gold Sip & Shop — New Orleans meets Pittsburgh in Paris
Get ready to mix some New Orleans vibes with Pittsburgh flair over drinks and shopping fun!
Little Africa Village and Girl Meets Glass host an intimate wine tasting for the NFL's first game in France
Ahead of the NFL's first-ever regular-season game in France, between New Orleans and Pittsburgh on October 25 at the Stade de France, Little Africa Village and Girl Meets Glass invite fans and culture lovers to an exclusive Sip & Shop evening in the heart of the Goutte d'Or.
Fifteen guests will gather at the Village for a guided tasting of wines and champagne, led by Paris-based American sommelier Tanisha Townsend, founder of Girl Meets Glass. The pairing menu, fried chicken and plantains prepared by a neighborhood caterer, celebrates the culinary heritage shared by the American South, Africa and the Caribbean.
Between glasses, guests will discover a curated selection of designers, art and fragrances from Africa and its diaspora. The evening draws on the centuries-old ties between Louisiana and France, and on the black and gold colors shared by both teams.
