Join ReCircle Society and Izzybelle Studio for a Halloween-inspired afternoon of button beading, patching, and clothing swapping at Lotus House Thrift Chic Boutique.

Learn creative techniques with Izzy Belle, a local creator specializing in button beading, patching, and pre-loved styling. Personalize a piece you already own, bring something from home that needs a little refresh, or thrift a new-to-you treasure at Lotus House and give it your own creative touch.

What to know:

No experience needed — beginners are welcome

Buttons, beads, patches, and workshop materials are provided

Bring your own shirt, jacket, jeans, tote, hat, or other item to customize

Or find something at the clothing swap or Lotus House Thrift Chic Boutique

Take your customized creation home with you

Waiver: A signed participant waiver is required after you RSVP. The waiver must be completed before participating in the workshop.

Free Community Clothing Swap

Give your closet a refresh without buying new.

Bring 1–10 clean, gently loved clothing items you’re ready to pass along and discover new-to-you pieces from the community.

Please bring items in good, wearable condition. No underwear, used socks, stained, damaged, or heavily worn items.

The clothing swap is free and open to the community. You do not need a workshop ticket to participate in the swap.

Your workshop ticket is a donation to ReCircle Society and helps support our community clothing swaps, creative reuse workshops, materials, and circular fashion education programs.

Your workshop ticket includes the guided workshop and the buttons, beads, patches, and other materials needed to create your piece.

Please note: Photos and examples are for inspiration only. Because we work with available and reused materials, patches, buttons, beads, colors, and styles will vary, making every creation a little different.
