Garden Series feat. Meg Howrey, Mandy Kahn, Karanbir Singh, and Josh Cobia

Overview

Join us for an intimate evening of music and readings, celebrating language and the things people do with it.

We're back for our second edition of the Garden Series, featuring a curated group of creatives sharing their writing, songs, and the stories behind them. We aim to present a series of exclusive evenings each season, highlighting both emerging and established artists in a small residential garden. All ticket sales go directly to featured artists, with books and merch available for purchase and signings.

November 8th, we're delighted to feature Meg Howrey, reading from her new novel, BODY LANGUAGE, a New York Times Book Review Editor's Choice. Meg will be joined by acclaimed poet, author, and peace advocate Mandy Kahn, with additional readings from Karanbir Singh, and words and music by Josh Cobia.

A donation-based honor bar will provide light refreshments, with proceeds benefiting 50 Free Books. Guests are welcome to bring their own reusable water bottles to reduce waste. The event will conclude at 7:30pm, with plenty of great dinner & drink options just up the street.

The Garden Series is produced by local LA non-profit 50 Free Books, with support from A Good Used Book and local volunteers. Read more about the event series at 50freebooks.org/garden-series
