A two-act theater/dance/post-modern burlesque performance about learning how to love.
“Conditional Love” is a two-act performance installation about learning to love yourself and to accept love from others. This one-person show includes campy humor, themes of aging, the pain of feeling inadequate, awkward sensuality, joy, and most importantly LOVE.
ACT 1 is an optional pre-show installation that includes visual art and interactive elements. Jakki will perform one-on-one Love Card readings on a first come, first serve basis. Come for all or part of this self-guided Act.
ACT 2 combines theater, dance, and conservative post-modern burlesque to tell an anachronistic story of learning how to love.
