STRANGE JOURNEY: THE STORY OF ROCKY HORROR! + Q&A w/ Dir. Linus O'Brien!

Calling all wild and untamed things: 7th House would like, if they may, to take you on a strange journey — with STRANGE JOURNEY: THE STORY OF ROCKY HORROR (2025)! Directed by Linus O’Brien, and featuring intimate access to Rocky Horror creator Richard O’Brien, this new documentary traces the monumental mutation of the ecstatic invention that was shocked to life in a tiny London theatre before plotting an ever-expanding invasion of stages and midnight movie screens—wreaking glorious havoc across the globe and down through the ages, with its delectably transgressive spirit continuing to inspire, liberate, and unite generations of misfits, outsiders, and beautiful freaks! Director Linus O’Brien will join us in person for a sure-to-be-fantastic post-screening Q&A!

With Richard O’Brien’s own recollections at its wildly beating heart, firsthand accounts from original cast members Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Patricia Quinn, and Nell Campbell, and testimonials from famous devotees like Jack Black and Trixie Mattel, STRANGE JOURNEY revisits the creative alchemy that brought Rocky Horror to life, the music and performances that made it immortal, and the legions of fans who transformed a box-office curiosity into the definitive cult classic: a living, breathing, audience-participating cultural institution. More than fifty years after its first appearance on the London stage, the world’s still doing the Time Warp again and again!

Presented in loving tribute to the late, great Tim Curry, whose electrifying, epically uninhibited performance as Dr. Frank-N-Furter remains one of cinema’s most unforgettable creations, this special evening invites you to celebrate the magnificent madness of Rocky Horror in all its fishnet-clad, convention-defying glory! Science fiction double feature finery enthusiastically encouraged!
