The Stories Trees Tell forest honoring workshop

The Stories Trees Tell forest honoring workshop

Location TBD
Overview

The wisdom of trees and magic of the lush forest await you! Join us in the Asheville woods for nature connection, wisdom, silence & sharing.

Honor Nature on a short hike in the forest. Bask in the wise presence of the Trees as you remember your roots and reunite with Mother Earth, the mother of us all.

Take some time out of life to connect with traditional ways, commune with big trees and share your experiences in common heart with other good folks!

We will immerse into nature together in the beautiful Asheville Botanical Gardens to receive whatever wisdom and magic this Autumn day offers us.

Please bring a notebook and a pen and a blanket or camping chair to sit on as we will spend some time sitting in a circle on the ground together. We will be spending 25 minutes of discussion, orienting us to our connection with the trees, then 20 minutes of quiet time walking in and listening to nature. We will then write/draw what we experienced and join together to share those experiences.

Please bring your own water bottle and wear hiking shoes and long pants.

We will meet in the parking area of the Asheville Botanical Gardens at UNCA.

Donations are appreciated and can be sent to Adam and Erin. In addition, when you register, you will be asked to pay a small amount for materials.

This event will take place in downtown Asheville, NC at the Asheville Botanical Gardens at UNCA.

This event was originally founded with the premiere forest conservation group in the Southeast region, Dogwood Alliance.

This event will be postponed if rain is predicted. Please pay attention to your email updates.
