ZAMBOMBA Fiesta Flamenca 2026

A Unique Andalusian Christmas Experience

In collaboration with Instituto Cervantes Utrecht

Saturday, 12 December 2026 | Theater Het Zonnehuis, Amsterdam

Experience the magic of an Andalusian Christmas with ZAMBOMBA Fiesta Flamenca 2026 — an extraordinary celebration of flamenco, music, dance, tradition and togetherness!

For 16 years, ZAMBOMBA Fiesta Flamenca, created and produced by Yota Baron, has brought together outstanding flamenco artists and audiences across Europe, sharing the warmth, joy and generosity of this beautiful Andalusian Christmas tradition.

A Zambomba is much more than a concert. Rooted in the festive gatherings of Andalusia, it is a celebration where traditional Christmas songs (villancicos), flamenco rhythms, singing, dancing and spontaneous participation come together. An evening filled with emotion, laughter, rhythm and the unmistakable spirit of southern Spain.

This year's celebration: From Jerez to Utrera

The 2026 edition takes us on a musical journey through the rich Christmas traditions of Jerez de la Frontera and Utrera, two legendary centres of flamenco culture.

We are delighted to welcome two special guest artists from Spain: Marcos Jiménez (dance) and Alba Guerrero (singing), joining an exceptional ensemble of flamenco performers based in the Netherlands and beyond.

With a large cast of dancers, singers, guitarists, percussionists and the wonderful Tiri Tiri Flamenco Choir, the stage of Het Zonnehuis will come alive with the energy and festive spirit of a true Andalusian Zambomba.

Flamenco with a purpose

Beyond the music and celebration, ZAMBOMBA carries a message of solidarity.

Part of the proceeds from this year's event will support the Christodoulion Orphanage in Greece, contributing to the care and well-being of the children growing up there.

Through music, we celebrate not only Christmas but also the importance of generosity, compassion and community.

Come celebrate with us! Experience the joy of Andalusia, the passion of flamenco and the magic of Christmas in Amsterdam.
