IN LIVING MEMORY
Austin Studio Tour | ECHOES ATX × Carver Museum
Come spend some time with us at the Carver!
During the 2026 Austin Studio Tour, ECHOES ATX welcomes visitors to In Living Memory, a free exhibition bringing together ten contemporary artists exploring the memory, presence, and imagination of Black and Hispanic Austin.
Through painting, documentary photography, Super 8 film, oral histories, family archives, a Tejana family ofrenda, and multimedia installations, the exhibition considers the people and places that have shaped this city. Moving through themes of place, memory, and legacy, In Living Memory asks what we make, what we carry, and what we leave for those who come after us.

IN LIVING MEMORY
Austin Studio Tour | ECHOES ATX × Carver Museum
