DC Tenants & Residents Union is serving up free tacos, local voices & neighbor-to-neighbor organizing. The secret ingredient? Solidarity.
______
Join the DC Tenants & Residents Union (DC TRU) for an evening of tacos, conversation, and community. We're bringing neighbors from across all 8 wards together to share stories, build relationships, and celebrate the power of community.
What's happening?
- Meet your neighbors: Connect with D.C. tenants and residents from across the District.
- Hear local voices: Hear from native Washingtonians, housing advocates, and grassroots organizers about their experiences and the work happening in our communities.
- Build connections: Get to know fellow residents, share ideas, and discover opportunities to get involved in tenant organizing.
- Enjoy Taco Tuesday: Free tacos prepared by local tenant organizer and chef Dajo, plus alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
