Guided watercolor painting with Watercolor Connections at The Congregation Detroit. Supplies and a seasonal drink included.
Join Watercolor Connections for a fall evening of watercolor painting at The Congregation Detroit.
Learn the foundations of watercolor in this relaxed, hands-on class. In the first hour, we'll explore six essential techniques: wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, dry brush, flat wash, graded wash, and glazing. You'll see how each one creates a different effect, from soft dreamy backgrounds to crisp lines and rich texture.
At 8 o'clock, we'll put those new skills to work as we draw and paint our sweet treats, using the techniques we just learned to bring them to life on paper.
No experience needed. Ages 10 and up are welcome. Only 10 spots are available, so reserve yours soon before it fills up!
