Wintery Wellness Wander - Winter Mushroom ID Walk in the Colne Valley

Join us on a Wintery Wellness Wander, searching for mushrooms in the Colne Valley, connect to the local landscape and learn how to safely identify mushrooms with expert guidance from Josh.

This 2 hour walk will cover -

• What fungi are and their roles in our ecosystem
• How to identify common fungi species, including edible and medicinal mushrooms.
• How to identify and describe different parts of fungi
• Folklore and historic uses of fungi from around the world

Walks include a cuppa and a piece of homemade cake in the wild outdoors. Meet at Anello's Kitchen Garden on West Slaithwaite Road, where we will begin our wander. Paths along the walk may be uneven, so we recommend good footwear and suitable outdoor clothing,
