On 10 November, we’re bringing the WiDS Belgium community together at VIB Ghent for an afternoon around a topic that continues to spark conversation:

🎤 Academia vs Industry: same goals, different game?

What changes when you move between academia and industry? Where do the two worlds meet, and what can they learn from each other?

Together with our keynote speakers and panelists, we’ll explore different perspectives, career journeys, challenges and opportunities across both worlds, followed by networking and a reception.

🎤 Keynote speakers: Klara Bessemans and Liesbeth Minnoye💬 Panelists: Alison D. Scott, ELIEN DELMOTTE, Liesbet M. PEETERS and Maria Ghita, PhD
