We start with an open conversation between Timo Buetefisch, founder and CEO of Cooltra, and Damiana Casile, Senior Manager, People Business Partners at Dow Jones.

Timo started Cooltra in Barcelona almost 20 years ago and grew it into a European company. With Damiana, he’ll talk about the human side of building a business: the people decisions that mattered most, what it’s really like to bring AI into a company, and how leadership and teams are changing. Real stories, lessons learned, and a few questions we still don’t have answers to.

Four Tables, Four Different Lenses

After the fireside, we split into four small coffee tables. Each table has a host from a different field: anthropology, the humanities, learning and development, and generational research.

We chose these fields because many good ideas about work come from outside business. Anthropology has a lot to say about belonging. The humanities help us think about leadership. L&D knows how people really learn. And younger generations are already showing us where work is going.

The tables are small and informal. You don’t need to be an expert: bring your questions and your experience. At the end, each host shares a few ideas with the whole room.

Who’s it for?

Founders, team leaders, HR and talent professionals, creatives, and anyone curious about people and the future of work. You don’t need an HR title.
