A new monthly Cuban night in Central London

For lovers of Cuban music, dancing and the unmistakable energy of a Cuban dance floor.

We’re really excited to be launching Timba y Casino.

After many years of being part of London’s Cuban music and dance scene, we’ve created a new monthly night bringing together the things we love most: great Cuban music, Casino, Rueda, good people and a proper night out.

And what better night to begin than Halloween?

The music is at the heart of Timba y Casino.

Expect a journey through Cuban dance music, from Son and classic Salsa Cubana to Timba and the latest sounds, with plenty of favourites, discoveries and new releases along the way.

Come for the dancing. Stay for the music.

with Oscle Orduñez!

We’re delighted to welcome Oscle Orduñez, who will be teaching an excellent Casino lesson with authentic Cuban flavour for Intermediate+ dancers. There will also be lower level classes.

Come along, join the coasses and enjoy the fun.

🌴 THE SOCIAL

From 9pm until 2am, it’s time to dance.

Expect a friendly, welcoming crowd and a full evening of Cuban music, from the classics you know and love to tracks you may be hearing for the first time.

Whether you’re an experienced Casinero or Casinera, a regular on the Cuban scene, or simply discovering Cuban dancing, you’re very welcome.

Come with friends, come with a partner or come on your own.

The important thing is to come ready to dance.

Our first night falls on Halloween.

Costumes are welcome, but definitely not compulsory.

Come dressed up. Come as you are. Just come ready for a Cuban night.

We’ve been part of London’s Cuban scene since 2000, working with dancers, DJs, teachers, musicians and artists from across the Cuban community.

Over those years we’ve seen what makes a great Cuban night: good music, great dancing, friendly people and an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.

Timba y Casino is our next chapter.

A monthly night for people who already love Cuban music and dance, and for those who are just discovering it.
