ABLA October CLE, Recognizing Human Trafficking

Join ABLA on Wed., 10/14/26 at noon for a CLE presented by Laura Politi, "Recognizing Human Trafficking: Practical Tools for Attorneys."

The purpose of this one-hour CLE presentation is to help attorneys recognize human trafficking and respond thoughtfully when a client or community member may have experienced it. The goal is for attorneys across practice areas to leave with concrete steps for recognizing potential indicators, having trauma-informed conversations, and connecting survivors with appropriate support. The presentation will include tips for recognizing the signs and ways these concerns arise in everyday legal practice, and overview of federal and Texas legal frameworks, assessing and facilitating steps to assist, resources and guidance on prevention and community education.
