Fright On!

Back in the '70s, you'd say "Right on!" when something hit just right. We say Fright On! because Halloween is a little spooky, a lot of fun, and all kinds of fine.

What's happening:
Classic Motown records played in between all your favorite Hip Hop, R&B and Afrobeat songs all night long. Sing along, slide across the floor, and let the Temptations-style footwork flow, whether you've got the moves or you're just faking it with confidence.

What to wear: Go big. Afros and bell-bottoms, glittering ghouls, disco vampires, soul-era icons. Costumes, cocktail attire, or something in between, as long as you bring the style. Costumes are encouraged but not required.

• Vampires in velvet capes, ruffled shirts, and bold collars
• Gothic divas in sequined gowns, long gloves, and dramatic lace
• Ghostly brides, midnight widows, and masquerade-ready mystery guests

• Motown groups with coordinated suits, sparkling gowns, and matching choreography
• Bell-bottoms, wide-collar shirts, wide-brim hats, and platform shoes
• Afros, headwraps, oversized shades, and gold jewelry
• Disco-meets-ghoul looks like a glittering skeleton in a jumpsuit or a zombie in a satin pantsuit
