It's Snakes and Dead Eggs
It’s Snakes is 4 veteran musicians with a deep punk DIY ethos, including Aaron and Hope from Fetchin Bones and Sugarsmack. Their rock encompasses a range of influences and styles traced through decades of adoration. All genres get a nod, with Rolling Stones, Pylon, James Brown and Jerry Jeff walker vibes blended to make their own unique sound.
Dead Eggs is an Asheville, NC–based punk trio delivering raw, no-frills energy with a sharp sense of fun. Featuring Joe Hooten (Tin Roof Echo / PINKEYE) on guitar and vocals, Chad Nance (John Kirby Jr & New Seniors / Father is Lost) on bass and vocals, and Joel Suttles (Mercyland) on drums, the band leans into a seasoned, DIY approach that values feel over polish. Drawing from the wiry urgency of Minutemen, the noise and edge of Sonic Youth, and the grit of Naked Raygun, Dead Eggs channels explosive energy into tight, hook-driven songs that hit hard without taking themselves too seriously: loud, scrappy, and built by lifers who know exactly what they’re doing.
