Día de los Muertos Celebration Mexican Town Detroit: THE SMILING FLOWERS
Join us at Tulum Detroit for a special Día de los Muertos gathering celebrating life, memory, art, and community.
The Smiling Flowers brings together a film premiere, poetry open mic, community ofrenda, music, and culture for an intimate evening honoring those who came before us while celebrating the stories we continue to carry forward.
Hosted by ReyesPoetry and BarelyHispanic, the evening invites guests to experience Día de los Muertos through poetry, film, remembrance, and community connection.
Guests are encouraged to participate in the ofrenda by bringing a photo, flower, note, or small remembrance honoring a loved one who has passed.
