Date Nite Comedy | JC Sibala Saturday 7p

Date Nite Comedy | Detroit

A little romance. A lot of laughter. A night worth getting dressed for.

This edition of Date Nite Comedy, presented by TheySoFunny, features comedian JC Sibala.

JC brings a straight-forward, no-filter style with just enough sincerity to make the stories hit even harder. His comedy draws from growing up ethnically ambiguous in Midwest suburbia, navigating relationships and parenthood, and adjusting to married life. His ability to find the funny in real-life situations gives him a style that connects with audiences from all backgrounds.

A veteran of the St. Louis comedy scene, JC has performed at clubs throughout the Midwest and has opened for comedians including Orlando Jones, Steve Byrne, Faizon Love, and Dave Coulier. He is also the co-creator of Wild Card Comedy, one of St. Louis’ longest-running independent comedy showcases, and released his first comedy special, VanillaPino.

Break out of the dinner-and-a-movie routine and join us in Downtown Detroit for an intimate comedy experience featuring nationally touring comedians alongside some of your favorite Detroit talent, hosted by Mike Bonner.

Whether it’s your first date, anniversary, birthday celebration, or just a much-needed night away from the everyday grind, make time for each other—and let us bring the funny.
