The Embassy of Ecuador in the United States presents “Flights of the Soul,” an exhibition of drawings and paintings in acrylic and oil.
The exhibition offers a journey into the depths of the subconscious through abstract interpretation. Through expressive forms, symbols, colors, and compositions, the artist invites viewers to explore the inner world, memory, emotion, and the impulses that shape the human experience.Pablo Ramiro López Alarcón was born in Quito, Ecuador, in 1954. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, specializing in Visual Arts, from the Central University of Ecuador. Throughout his professional career, he has taught art and literature at several secondary schools in Quito and has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions featuring drawings, paintings, murals, and collages, both in Ecuador and internationally.His artistic work has received several awards and honorable mentions.
