A meet-up for writers to come write and network over coffee.
Join Folk Riot's nonprofit, The Contemporary Folk Collaborative, for our writers' meet-up series at The New Marigny Theatre! Have you been working on a play, a book, a blog, an essay, a research project, or just interested in putting words on the page? Struggling to find the time and space to do it? Or maybe you're looking for other people in the community who enjoy the challenge of bringing their visions to life on the page? Either way, let's come together and keep storytelling alive.
There will be free coffee, tea, maybe some snackage, wifi, and a dedicated few hours to get you to actually put things on the page (be it a physical notebook or a laptop...typewriters are also welcome). Come be in community with your fellow local writers.
