Courageous Awards
Join Big Heart Foundation Oct. 28 at Atlanta City Hall to honor domestic violence survivors, share resources, scholarships, hope & healing.
Domestic violence affects millions of individuals and families each year, shattering lives and leaving lasting scars—yet within these stories of pain are powerful examples of courage and resilience.
On October 28, during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, an impactful ceremony will be held by Big Heart Foundation at the Atlanta City Hall Chambers, bringing community leaders, advocates, and survivors together to shine a light on hope and healing. Karlie will share her own personal experience with domestic violence and invite local programs and organizations to highlight the resources and ongoing support available to victims and survivors across the city.
This gathering is not only a celebration of courage but also a call to action—reminding us that together, we can break the cycle of abuse and uplift those on the journey to healing.
Curated by Karlie Redd, Yandy Smith-Harris, and Erica Thomas, the event will honor domestic violence survivors with “Courageous Awards,” recognizing their extraordinary strength and the bravery it takes to walk away and rebuild.
