Fancy seeing Kingswood Heritage Museum after dark?

On Sunday 25 October, we’re opening the Museum in the evening for a special Halloween adventure – with history, legends, lanterns and a few surprises along the way!

🌙 6pm–9pm – drop in whenever you like

Explore the Museum after hours, with atmospheric lighting and fairy lights transforming our historic buildings and galleries.

👻 MEET CHARACTERS FROM OUR PAST Our historical characters will be waiting around the Museum to bring some of Kingswood’s stories to life. Who will you meet… and what might they have to tell you?

🕯️ LEGENDS & MYSTERIES Discover some of the strange, spooky and surprising stories hidden in our local history.

🏮 AND THEN… VENTURE INTO THE GROTTOES! For the first time, the grottoes will be open after dark for you to explore. William Champion’s mysterious 18th-century grottoes are atmospheric enough in daylight… but what will they be like when it’s dark? 👀

Are you brave enough to explore them?

🔦 Bring a torch! 🥾 Wear suitable footwear – the grottoes are uneven and can be slippery.

This is an adventure for the brave… although you don't have to go into the grottoes if you’d rather stay safely in the Museum! 😉

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Perfect for families, history lovers, Halloween fans and anyone who enjoys a little mystery.
