A Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Album and the Blues Foundation's B.B. King Entertainer of the Year award set the bar for this one. Sugaray Rayford pairs vintage soul with deep blues in a voice forged in a Texas church, and he has taken home Blues Music Awards for Soul Blues Male Artist in 2019 and 2020, plus Soul Blues Album of the Year for In Too Deep.
