You are a guest, not a performer.

There are three easy ways to experience the evening.

The Story in Three Courses

• Act I - The Empty Place

Dinner begins.

A place has been prepared for someone who does not arrive.

The first version of the story sounds convincing.

Until another character tells it differently.

• Act II - The Missing Ledger

A second course arrives.

So does the discovery that something disappeared before anyone sat down.

Characters move through the room.

Questions become possible.

Answers become less useful.

• Act III - The Final Envelope

Dessert arrives with one final piece of evidence.

Each table has time to decide what it believes happened before the complete story is revealed.
