Harvest & Harmonize
A 6 Week Fall Community Song Series
Harvest & Harmonize: A 6-Week Fall Community Song Series
Facilitated by Rakefet Laviolette | Sing for Connection
Singing together is one of the oldest ways humans have found to belong. When we harmonize, our heartbeats begin to sync, releasing oxytocin, lowering cortisol, and soothing our nervous systems.
In a world that constantly asks us to perform, our circle is a sanctuary. We sing not to sound "good," but to raise our collective vibration, move through stuck emotions, and remember that we are not meant to carry the melody of life alone.
This series is designed as an intimate gathering where we can build trust, weave harmony, and go deep together over six weeks. To hold a cozy, grounded container for our voices and stories, room is saved for just 10 participants.
Series Schedule & Details
- When: Thursdays from 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM (Nov 5, Nov 12, Nov 19, Dec 3, Dec 10)
Thanksgiving Week Swap: Friday, Nov 27 from 11:00 AM – 12:15 PM
(We gather Friday morning instead of Thanksgiving Thursday so we can be in community and gratitude on a day when many folks aren't working). - Where: Private office studio in Wallingwood Office Complex, South Austin. (Exact suite number will be sent in your registration confirmation email to keep our space quiet and focused).
- Who: Adults only (capped at 10 participants).
What Happens at a Song Circle?
We gather in a circle, take a few deep breaths to land in the space, and dive into song.
- How We Learn: There is no paper, no reading, and no pressure. We learn through oral tradition ("call and echo")—Rakefet sings a line, and you sing it back. Before you know it, we are woven into a rich, collective song.
- The Songs: Short, soulful, non-religious, and rhythmic songs that are easy to catch and hard to forget.
- The Vibe: Connection over perfection. Leave your inner critic at the door.
Investment & Registration
