Richmond International Screenwriting & Film Festival 2026

FULL 2026 PROGRAMME & SCHEDULE TO BE CONFIRMED!

Keep your eyes on our website for updates

We will be screening FOUR BLOCKS of the very best short films from the UK and internationally. Doors open at 12pm. The Lounge Bar will be open throughout selling tea and coffee, soft drinks, wine, beer and freshly-cooked pizza.

Our moderated Q&A panels happen immediately after each screening block and give an insight into the process behind each film. We always open the Q&As up to the floor so that our guests can ask questions as well. Q&As are followed by a break between blocks with a chance to chat and pick up refreshments from the bar.

A complimentary programme will be available on the door, to guide you through the day.

RISFF is a screenwriting and short film festival where we celebrate exciting voices in independent screenwriting and filmmaking.

Our programme of short films includes multi award-winning shorts from around the world with one thing in common - a powerful story. The festival schedule will be updated to our website in the coming days! We have a fantastic day planned for you.

The festival will be hosted within the 1960s architecture of Duke Street Church, screening our short film programme in the recently renovated auditorium space.

The festival will culminate in our AWARDS CEREMONY at 8pm when our industry guest presenters will award our festival trophies to the Winners in our Screenwriting and Short Film categories.

Our behind-the-scenes videographer will be capturing the day, as well as a stills photographer. We'll have our step-and-repeat area for photos and selfies, so come prepared to give us your best smile!

Our partners Minerva Wellness will be bringing their passion for health and wellness to the festival. We are joining forces with them to celebrate the vitality of creativity!

The festival is a chance for short film fans to come along and discover our beautiful short films and the people who make them, meet new friends and have some fun!

We can't wait to share this year's Richmond International Screenwriting & Film Festival with you!
