Dine & Discovery: Kids Holiday Cooking with Chef Nick & Junior Chef Islay
Junior Chefs join us in the Maker Kitchen for cooking workshops featuring ANC Makers and Lansing-local talent!
Junior Chefs are back to take over the Maker Kitchen in this workshop led by Chef Nick Crosser and Junior Chef Islay! For this workshop, Junior Chefs and their guardians will cook a classic holiday meal, including mashed potatoes, dressing, salad and more together, learning how to work in the kitchen as a team.
All ages welcome! This class covers some basic kitchen fundamentals for children and adults working in the kitchen together. Children must be joined for class by a parent or guardian. Tickets for this class are sold in pairs that includes admission for one adult and one child.
Please be sure to wear comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes for working in the kitchen. Hair that is shoulder-length or longer needs to be tied back.
Parking is available in the lot on the east side of the center, as well as on the surrounding streets, Kalamazoo, Allen and Shepard.
If you have any questions about the class or would like to inquire about dietary accommodations, contact Abie Kopacz at events@allenneighborhoodcenter.org before purchasing your tickets.
