Ladies Entrepreneur Empowerment Corporation (LEEC), in partnership with Project Purple Light, invites women and their children to join us for a FREE Domestic Violence Survivor Empowerment Experience in honor of October Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

You survived. Now it is time to RISE.

There is so much conversation about getting out of an abusive relationship—but what happens after you survive?

Our question to every woman is:

“You got out. You survived. But who are you going to become now?”

SHE RISES: THE AFTERMATH is about what comes next: healing, rebuilding, rediscovering yourself, becoming financially empowered, pursuing your education and career, developing as a leader, building healthy relationships, finding your purpose, and dreaming again.

This will be a safe, uplifting and empowering afternoon created to remind women:

Your story did not end with what happened to you.

Women will experience powerful empowerment sessions, intentional healing, financial empowerment, leadership development, education and career resources, entrepreneurship support, strategic planning, healthy-relationship conversations, community resources and opportunities to begin creating a new vision for their future.

Dr. Andrea L. Thompson, Executive Director of LEEC, will serve as Keynote Speaker & Event Host, alongside Felecia Berry, Executive Director of Project Purple Light and Event Host.

💜 AND YES—BRING YOUR CHILDREN!

We understand that childcare can prevent women from attending programs created to help them. Your children are welcome. This experience is about strengthening women and families.

Lunch and beverages will be provided, along with empowerment resources and special opportunities made possible through our community partners and sponsors.

There is NO COST to attend.

However, space is limited to 80 women, and advance registration is required.

Whether you are newly beginning your journey, have been rebuilding for years, or simply need a room filled with women reminding you that there is still life, purpose and possibility after pain—we want you in the room.
