Grow & Gather: Prickly Pear (*rescheduled*)

You've seen prickly pear flavored drinks and syrups, but have you ever had one fresh? Come to Viridescent Gardens, in the first of the monthly Grow & Gather series, to learn how to safely harvest this hellraiser of a fruit. We'll go through how to prepare it, use all parts of it, ways to consume it, and how to propagate and care for the cactus pads so you can grow your own crop of prickly pear.

Come for the skills, disconnection from a screen, and connection to new community! Leave with some prickly pear fruit, your own cactus cutting, and some recipes.

In honor of the season Halloween costumes are welcome! (of course not required).
