Family Health and Birth Center is the only freestanding birth center in Washington, DC. Our tours give you a relaxed, no-pressure way to walk through the space, meet the midwives who care for our families, and ask anything on your mind.
Whether you're newly pregnant, comparing options, or just curious about what a birth center is like, you're welcome here.
On this tour, you'll:
-See our private, home-like birth suites, including a deep soaking tubs for labor and water birth
-Meet our experienced midwives and learn how we care for you from pregnancy through postpartum
-Learn about our wraparound support for families, including CenteringPregnancy®, lactation support, postpartum visits, and more
-Get answers about safety, insurance, and what happens if you need a hospital
