BIRD BAM AFTER DARK: LEAGUE OF LITERARY AFFAIRS

Mahjong • Literature • A Little Scandal

There was a time when the most memorable evenings began not with an itinerary, but with an invitation.

A beautifully set table.

Candlelight trembling across crystal.

Champagne waiting to be poured.

And the unmistakable feeling that, before the evening was through, there might be a story worth telling.

This fall, the Parlour opens once again.

And with it, a new chapter of Bird Bam After Dark begins.

Welcome to the League of Literary Affairs, where four of literature’s most beloved tales leave the page and take their place at the Mahjong table.

For four Tuesday evenings, Hotel Crescent Court becomes our own little literary world after dark. We’ll wander from the moonlit balconies of Verona to the drawing rooms of Regency England, through the smoldering secrets of Thornfield Hall and, finally, beneath the spell of an enchanted midsummer wood.

There will be romance.

There will be rivalry.

There will be champagne.

And, naturally, there will be a little scandal.

For what is a good story without one?

Join Whit & Whimsy Mahj at Hotel Crescent Court for League of Literary Affairs, a four-night Mahjong League inspired by some of literature’s most romantic, scandalous and enchanting worlds.
