After more than a decade away, Eric Duncan finally returns to Sydney for a rare and long-awaited appearance.
Widely regarded as one of underground dance music's most influential DJs and producers, Duncan is best known performing and producing under his own name (and Dr Dunks) as well as being half of the forever party people Rub N Tug with Thomas Bullock, DFA Records Still Going (with Liv Spencer), The Rhythm Odyssey & Dr. Dunks (with Chicken Lips) and Happy Family in cahoots with Justin Vandervolgen . Over the past two decades his productions, remixes and DJ sets have helped define dancefloors across the globe, blending disco, house, punk, psychedelia and cosmic oddities into a sound entirely his own.
His remix catalogue encompasses artists as diverse as Roxy Music, LCD Soundsystem, Grace Jones, Todd Terje, Chic, Beastie Boys, Zero 7 and Coldplay. Whether behind the decks, in the studio, or hosting the tuned-in Dr. Dunks Show on Know-Wave Radio, his mission remains the same: uncovering unexpected sounds and delivering unforgettable dancefloor moments.
