Wayward: A Professor's Search for Truth in Shanghai's Underground

A solo show about finding your own path in a world with strong ideas about who you should be

Andrea Jones-Rooy was a newly minted Ph.D. with a promising career as a professor ahead of her when she got a job offer she couldn't refuse in Shanghai, China. Once she got there, she got another job offer she couldn't refuse. And that's when the fun really started.

This is a one hundred percent true story about what happens when you say yes to, well, everything, and how to find your own place in the world when you are surrounded by people who think they know what's best for you.

This show is the world premiere, and contains comedy, science, and circus! And the scariest thing of all: honesty.
