A gathering in recognition of International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, offering space for remembrance, connection, and support.
Together We Grieve, Together We Remember is a gathering in recognition of International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, a day dedicated to those who have lost someone to suicide.
Join NAMI Greater Cleveland’s LOSS Team for a morning of remembrance, connection, and community with others who understand the unique experience of suicide loss. This gathering offers a supportive space to honor the people we carry with us, connect with other survivors, and reflect together.
The gathering will take place on Saturday November 14th at the Parma-Powers Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library in Meeting Room B.
The morning will include a brief speaker, opportunities for remembrance and connection, and light refreshments. You are welcome to bring a photo or small remembrance object representing the person you lost, if you would like.
There is no right way to grieve and no expectation that you share your story. You are welcome to participate in whatever way feels comfortable to you.
This event is free and open to anyone who has experienced the loss of someone to suicide, regardless of when your loss occurred or your relationship to the person who died.
