Join the PRSA San Francisco Bay Area Chapter for the 8th Annual Foggies Awards, and raise a glass to the best of Bay Area PR and communications.

This year’s Foggies will bring our community of PR and communications pros together at DecoDance in San Francisco for an evening of recognition, connection and celebration. We will honor the year’s standout campaigns, projects, professionals, teams and agencies while catching up with colleagues and friends from across the Bay Area communications community.

And yes, drinks are on us. Each ticket includes two drink tokens.

Our MC for the evening will be Jon Swartz, Senior Content Writer at Techstrong Group and author of My Coworker Is a Robot: Navigating the Technology That Could Replace You (Or Earn Your Next Promotion).

Previously, Swartz was USA Today’s San Francisco bureau chief. He has also written for Forbes, The (London) Independent, London Times, San Francisco Chronicle, and New Orleans Times-Picayune. He has won numerous journalism awards and is a two-time finalist for the Loebs, the Pulitzers of business reporting. Additionally, he frequently appears as a panelist on Fox Business and NBC Bay Area’s Press:Here program.

He has been nominated four times for the Pulitzer Prize. Swartz is co-author of “Zero Day Threat: The Shocking Truth of How Banks and Credit Bureaus Help Cyber Crooks Steal Your Money and Identity” and sole author of “Young Wealth.”

His new book, My Coworker is a Robot: Navigating the Technology That Could Replace You (Or Earn Your Next Promotion) examines AI's accelerating integration into workplaces, from robotic dentists and automated window washers to fully autonomous assembly lines and driverless delivery vehicles. Written by Jon Swartz, a veteran technology journalist with decades covering AI adoption at major outlets, the book documents the tension between rapid AI innovation and regulatory efforts by the Justice Department and Federal Trade Commission.
